Prince is a magnificent 3-year-old Great Pyrenees, tipping the scales at a formidable 130 pounds of pure, majestic fluff. He's a classic Pyrenees through and through, keenly aware of his surroundings and taking his role as neighborhood guardian very seriously. He sees it as his solemn duty to alert his humans to the comings and goings of Amazon drivers, squirrels, and passing neighbors. He truly believes this is important work and would appreciate your acknowledgment!
Despite his serious demeanor, Prince is a wonderful companion with his people, possessing a silly and fun-loving spirit. He's also very respectful of strangers. Prince enjoys playtime, though like many large working breeds, his bursts of energy are dramatic and short-lived. Prepare for thirty-second sprints followed by a full-body flop and a happy, lolling tongue.
Prince has a selective hearing ability, only tuning into what truly interests him. He's not aiming for obedience school stardom and is refreshingly independent, thoughtful, and comfortable making his own decisions. He does shed, he barks at things he sees, and he embodies all the wonderful traits Great Pyrenees are known for. If you try to scold him, he'll likely sulk and take it to heart.
Ideal Home
Prince is looking for adopters who truly understand and appreciate the Great Pyrenees breed and all its unique charms. He needs a securely fenced yard and cannot be trusted off-leash. Teen-aged children and older would be the best fit for this big, gentle boy.

Training & Support
Prince is house-trained and well-mannered within the home. He barks when he sees things, which is a characteristic of his breed. Understanding and appreciating his independent nature will be key to a happy life together.
