About Honey

Honey Comb is a sweet, affectionate, and silly 6-year-old terrier mix who weighs 68 lbs. She's the perfect blend of playful energy and chill vibes, always happy to be by your side, whether you're watching TV, reading, or just relaxing. Honey Comb loves to be close to her humans, resting her head on your lap or nuzzling your neck for cuddles. She's not a "stage five clinger," though, and is content to entertain herself while you're busy, making her an excellent work-from-home companion. When it's time for fun, she's ready for zoomies, neighborhood walks, car rides, and puzzle toys. She greets everyone, young and old, with a big smile and a wagging tail, and her signature "stop, drop, and roll" is her way of asking for belly rubs. Honey Comb is smart, learns routines quickly, and is respectful around food. She's ready to find a family who will appreciate her affectionate heart and loyal companionship. She starts her day with a silly wiggle and enjoys playtime before settling down. She loves leisurely walks on nature trails, soaking up the sun, and keeping an eye out for squirrels. She's happy to entertain herself with toys and chews, and would love a BarkBox subscription for new goodies. A fenced-in backyard is a must for this sun-loving girl.

Ideal Home

Honey Comb is kid-friendly and adores attention, but due to her happy tail wags potentially bumping little ones, a home with children aged 4 and up is recommended. She would thrive as the only pet in the home, as she loves to soak up all the love and attention for herself. A feline-free home is also recommended. She would be happiest in a quieter suburban or rural area, perfect for her love of nature trails and hikes. A fenced-in backyard is non-negotiable for her to play fetch and sunbathe.

Ongoing Health

No specific health conditions are mentioned in the listing.

Training & Support

Honey Comb is kennel trained, potty trained, and leash trained. She walks beautifully on a leash during quiet, peaceful walks. She is not destructive and can be trusted when left alone. She communicates her need to potty by "tap dancing" by the door and will not have accidents in the home, even when left alone for a full workday.
