Meet Buttons! š¾ He's a charming 1-year-old Chihuahua who weighs just 8 pounds. Buttons is a uniquely quiet and calm little guy who rarely barks. He's a gentle spirit who truly blossoms when things are peaceful and is looking for a pint-sized companion to fill your home with quiet devotion.
Ideal Home
Buttons is looking for a quiet, low-key forever home where he can finally relax and let his true personality shine. Because loud noises and high energy can make him nervous, a calm household would be his absolute dream come true. He does well with other smaller dogs who match his gentle demeanor, making him a great potential companion for another little pup.
Ongoing Health
Buttons is already neutered and up-to-date on all his essential vaccinations (Rabies, DHLPP, and Bordetella). He has been dewormed and is kept on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. He will be microchipped and receive a fresh fecal exam and a certified Health Certificate within 10 days of his transport date.
Training & Support
Buttons is a champ in his crate and settles down nicely at night. He rides quietly and safely when crated in the car. He is still learning the ropes of housebreaking and will need a patient adopter willing to help him establish a good routine. He does go potty immediately when he is taken outside. Sometimes, when Buttons gets super nervous or excited, he might leave a tiny "happy puddle" or a little sprinkle of "stage fright." His rescue friends are hopeful this nervous habit will start tapering off as he settles into a secure, predictable routine, especially since he is now neutered.

Transporation
Buttons is currently in Oklahoma. We arrange direct-to-adopter transport to specific cities in the Pacific Northwest, Northeast, Midwest, and West/Mountain regions. Adopters must be available at the scheduled time and location.
