Peppa is a sweet mama, around 2 years old and 40 lbs, with a beautiful personality. She is incredibly submissive and shy at first, but with the help of another family dog, she opens up and loves to play. Peppa likes treats but really loves toys, especially squeakers, which she will carry around everywhere. She loves her crate and prefers not to be left alone too much. She happily runs upstairs and straight into her crate at bedtime, sleeping without a peep. When she is alone, she will cry or whine a bit but acclimates over time. With another dog in a nearby crate, she doesn't make a sound. Peppa's foster mom works in the office three days a week, and Peppa does okay in her crate with an afternoon walk from a dog walker. She will follow you around like your shadow. Peppa is good on leash, but when she feels unsure, she lays down until you reassure her. She is house and potty trained, respectful, attentive, sits on command, and is the gentlest treat taker. She is spayed and up to date on all vaccines and prevention. She loves everyone but prefers a quiet life, ideally sunbathing.
Ideal Home
Peppa would likely be best in a home with older or respectful children. She needs someone who is willing to give her time and space to open up, along with reassurance and love, and she will repay it tenfold.
Ongoing Health
Peppa is spayed and up to date on all vaccines and prevention.
