Lex is the epitome of a good time! She's a bouncy, playful dog who is loving of everyone and excited to make new friends, whether they have two legs or four. She knows how to have fun no matter where she is. The moment you meet Lex, you'll fall in love; she's bursting with joy, the queen of zoomies, kisses, and tug-of-war. She'll greet you with a wagging tail and a huge smile, showering everyone with affection. Lex plays hard with other dogs, but she's considerate and good at reading vibes, particularly enjoying playtime with confident female dogs. She's a 56lb pit bull/cattle dog mix with beautiful cattle spotting and adorable pointed ears, 56lbs of pure happiness.

Ideal Home

Lex would thrive in a home with a yard and an active owner who is familiar with cattle dog traits, as she's a true wild child! She's very high-energy and loves to be active. While Lex hasn't been kid-tested, we believe she'd love children, especially older ones who can handle her playful energy. Lex is a definite no when it comes to cats, as she showed too much interest during introductions.

Lex is a healthy dog, and her adoption fee includes all vetting.

Training & Support

Lex's leash skills need some perfecting, as she can pull a bit when eager to meet new people. She's a smart dog who would train well with consistency.

Lex is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada. For Canadian adopters, pickup is available in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT.
