June is a shy and timid girl who was found as a stray in Houston, TX. She was very distrustful of people when she was found, and she will need patience and time to settle into a routine. Once she feels comfortable, she is a very loyal companion. She does well with select dogs and would thrive as an only dog with older adopters. She isn't adverse to having another dog as a friend, but introductions would need to be handled by someone experienced.

June would do best in a quiet home with older adopters who can provide her with patience and time to adjust. She could be an only pet, or she may do well with a canine friend if introduced carefully by an experienced handler.
