Peyton is a sweet, handsome boy with a heart of gold, looking for his forever home! He was born on 5/27/24 and has spent most of his young life in foster care. He's a dream in his crate and sleeps like a log! Peyton is deaf and knows a few basic signs, which is fantastic since he doesn't bark much at all. He was found with his mom and siblings dumped in the country in SE Missouri, but thankfully, they were all rescued. His mom is a blue Pittie, and he looks just like his blue Pit dad, Archie. This litter of dogs has phenomenal temperaments, and if you have a soft spot for a special needs pup, Peyton is your guy!
Ideal Home
Peyton is a "dog-first dog" and truly thrives when he has canine companions. He should not be the only dog in the home. He would do well with a playful dog his own age or an older, confident but chill dog. He needs a home without cats and no small children, as he can't hear them approaching. Older children who are respectful of his hearing impairment are welcome.
Ongoing Health
Peyton is a special needs pup due to his deafness.
Training & Support
Peyton is potty trained and sleeps soundly. While he doesn't bark much, his deafness means he won't react to sounds with barking, which is a great trait!
