Meet Rac! This handsome Husky mix is about 1 year old and weighs around 62 lbs. Rac is an outgoing and active guy who exudes happiness, especially when he gets to play zoomies with his dog friends or enjoy playtime with his foster dad. He loves long walks and new adventures, and while getting into the car isn't his favorite, he enjoys the ride once he's in! Rac was rescued during a harsh winter freeze where he lacked shelter. A kind neighbor began feeding him, but unfortunately, couldn't keep him. Thankfully, his foster dad stepped in and rescued him. Rac even spent time with a trainer to help him adjust to indoor living. He's now thriving in his foster home with his dog siblings, though he's a bit too energetic for kitties. His foster dad describes him as very sweet and eager for attention.
Ideal Home
Rac would thrive in an active home where he can go on hikes, play with energetic canine companions, and cuddle with his loved ones.
Ongoing Health
Rac is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered.
Training & Support
Rac is kennel and potty trained. He's also dog friendly. While loading into a car isn't his favorite activity, he enjoys the ride once he's in. Patience and unconditional love will help Rac's initial shyness dissolve into lifelong companionship.
