Meet Blu!
A vibrant approximately two-and-a-half-year-old Boxer/American Pitbull Terrier mix with a beautiful brown brindle coat and white accents. Blu followed a kind soul home from a grocery store and has been living with a family who doted on her with loving care. She has been spayed and vaccinated. Blu is affectionate, incredibly smart, and motivated to please. Her favorite pastimes include fetch with her beloved soft frisbee, epic tug-o-war matches, chewing on yak cheese, and zooming around the yard like a joyful whirlwind! She also enjoys supervised shredding of soft toys and cardboard strips, which has been a creative way to channel her natural need to rip and chew. Blu has not chewed on anything off-limits in months. She knows an impressive list of commands including sit, wait, down, up, leave it, come, and more! She responds well to structure and loves training, especially when it comes with treats and praise. Blu is crate-trained and house-trained, and has been comfortable being left alone for short periods. She is searching for a new loving home where she can thrive, somewhere with room to romp, people to love, and someone who finds her endearing mix of sweetness and spunk just as delightful as we do! Ideal Home
Blu is an energetic girl who can get excitable, which may result in jumping up. She also can be destructive when under-stimulated, which makes regular mental and physical enrichment essential. She does best with three walks a day, plenty of playtime, and enrichment activities to keep her mind engaged. A fenced yard is a big plus, as is a family who enjoys an active lifestyle and has time to include her in their daily routine.

Training & Support
Blu is still working through her sensitivity to passing cars and men in baseball caps, but she's made steady progress with positive reinforcement. She can also be destructive when under-stimulated, which makes regular mental and physical enrichment essential.
