Meet Goose, a goofy and gentle giant who's ready to fill your home with love and laughter! Goose is a young pup still growing into his large paws, and he's looking for an adopter with guardian breed experience to help guide him through adulthood. He's a smart, alert, and strong-willed boy who has been thriving in his foster home. His foster family raves about his people-friendly and affectionate nature. He greets everyone politely, doesn't jump, and is always happy to flop over for belly rubs. Goose is eager to learn and has already mastered potty training and knows commands like sit, down, and shake. He's also making great progress with stay, come, and maintaining focus, even with distractions. He's a fantastic walker on his front halter and is unbothered by cars, noises, or other dogs he encounters.

Ideal Home

Goose would do best as an only dog, as he sometimes forgets his own size and can be a bit too boisterous with other dogs. An adopter with guardian breed experience is a must to help guide him into adulthood.

Training & Support

Goose is a smart pup and eager to learn, already being potty-trained and knowing several basic commands. He walks well on a leash. Ongoing training and supervision are a must, especially when it comes to appropriate play with other animals, as he can sometimes come on too strong.
