Winnie

Winnie is a sweet Pit Bull Terrier mix who came to us when her family could no longer care for her due to health issues. She was wonderful with their 4-year-old child, who is autistic, and we know she'll be a devoted companion. Winnie can be a little shy at first and takes some time to warm up to new people. She seems to bond more quickly with women. Once she trusts you, she's incredibly loving and affectionate, wanting nothing more than to cuddle up with her favorite person. While she enjoys being close to you, she's not overly demanding and is content to relax nearby. Winnie also loves her toys and enjoys playing fetch and keep-away, often showing off her happy "salsa dance" when she's excited!

Ideal Home

Winnie would do best in a home where she can feel safe and comfortable. While she was amazing with a young child, a quieter environment where she can build trust at her own pace might be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Winnie is spayed and up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Winnie can be shy initially, so patience and understanding will be key to helping her build confidence. Once she trusts you, her affectionate and cuddly nature will shine through. She enjoys interactive play like fetch and keep-away.
