About Quinn

Quinn is a happy and loving 3-year-old boy who weighs between 65-70 lbs. He was found as a stray in New Mexico, very underweight and with scabs and a limp. Luckily, he was taken in by a kind rescuer and nursed back to health. He learned the basics of being a house dog and made many foster siblings before making his way to Colorado to find his forever home! Quinn has what the kids call "riz" and it's almost impossible not to love him. While he may not be the brightest bulb, he is definitely the funniest, making adorable grumbly noises when enjoying belly rubs. He's done well on hikes and camping trips, though he could use a little more practice with recall to be fully trustworthy off-leash. Quinn loves the water, though he's still learning that rivers keep moving! He has a low-to-moderate energy level, happy to nap or go for a long walk.

Ideal Home

Quinn would be a great companion for a person or family looking for an easygoing friend during the week and an adventure buddy on the weekends. He would be perfectly happy as an only pet and would make a great first dog, but he's adaptable to many situations.

Ongoing Health

Quinn is neutered, vaccinated, and ready to go!

Training & Support

Quinn walks well on a leash, rides well in a car, and is housetrained. He knows "sit" but likes to pretend he doesn't know "off." He loves to cuddle on the bed or couch and greets people politely. He has shown some interest in cats but doesn't have a strong prey drive and might do well with a proper introduction. He gets along with other dogs but is more human-focused. He hasn't been around many children but has been sweet with them when they've met.
