Charity

Charity is a super sweet pup who loves getting pets more than anything and is generally easy-going with humans. She came to us from east Texas with two other pups, rescued from a situation where dogs in small towns often have limited animal control services. They were found starving on the streets. Charity is very smart and attentive to her people! She has been around children aged 1-17 and does well with kids, though she may unintentionally knock over smaller children due to her size.

Ideal Home

Charity needs a home where she can be the only pet, as she struggles with food-aggressive tendencies towards other dogs. She also has fence-jumping capabilities, so a 6 ft tall privacy fence is a must.

Ongoing Health

Charity is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. She has been on monthly heartworm preventative.

Training & Support

Charity has demonstrated crate reactivity to other dogs and has food-aggressive tendencies towards other dogs. She has been to a trainer and has made great progress, learning to reduce her reactivity and even be walked peacefully with other dogs. With slow introductions, she can learn to coexist with other dogs.
