Tyson

Tyson is a resilient soul with a heart full of love to give, despite a past filled with hardship. He spent most of his life neglected and abandoned, left for dead on a remote mountain. Rescuers found him severely malnourished with multiple health issues, but his spirit remained unbroken. Today, Tyson is a different dog – healthy, happy, and rediscovering the joy of life. He’s learned to walk calmly on a leash, sit, stay, and play well with other dogs, especially females. He's also crate trained and doesn't exhibit food aggression. Tyson thrives in a structured and compassionate environment and loves to run freely and receive kind touches, things he never experienced before. He carries a lot of pent-up energy but is learning to express it through play, walks, and bonding with his people.

Ideal Home

An active home with regular walks or runs, or a large yard would be ideal for Tyson to enjoy the freedom he's always deserved. He would do best with patient, loving people and older kids or teenagers who can support his continued journey of trust.

Ongoing Health

Tyson was rescued with skin conditions, eye issues, a weakened immune system, and heartworms. He has since received treatment and is now healthy.

Training & Support

Tyson has learned to walk calmly on a leash with a head halter, sit, stay, and play appropriately with other dogs. He is crate trained and shows no food aggression. He thrives in a structured environment and is learning to channel his energy positively.
