We have more wonderful male dogs joining our rescue, and we'll be sure to update our site as they arrive, get their health checks, and are ready for their forever homes!

Ideal Home

Great Pyrenees are guardian dogs and require a home that understands their protective nature. Invisible fencing is not an option, as most Pyrs will ignore the pain and go through it. This type of fencing also doesn't prevent others from entering your yard, which could lead to your Pyr perceiving them as a threat or being attacked. Tying out your dog is also not permitted, as it can make them aggressive. A securely fenced yard is ideal, but a fenced area will also be acceptable. Please note that these dogs are not typically suited for dog parks, as they tend to bark a lot and could disturb neighbors.

Ongoing Health

All dogs are spayed or neutered and vaccinated upon arrival.
