Bear... Chip and Max

Bear, Chip, and Max are three sweet, approximately 1.5-year-old male hounds who were found living in the woods of Tennessee after their previous owner moved and left them behind. Bear is the all-brown one, possibly with some coonhound in him. Chip has a lot of spots and appears to be a beagle mix, as does Max. These medium-sized dogs have short legs and are described as incredibly sweet. They were being fed by a kind person but cannot be taken in permanently. Sadly, two other dogs from the original group have gone missing, and the area is home to wildlife like mountain lions and bears, making their current situation precarious.

Ideal Home

• A fully fenced-in yard is required.
• Adopters must own their own home.
• Homes must be located in NJ. We may consider parts of PA depending on the location.

Ongoing Health

All necessary vetting will be completed prior to transport if suitable homes are found.

Training & Support

These dogs are described as sweet and are looking for a secure home.
