I'm Sylvia, a 3-year-old, 60-pound girl who's basically a fluffy, four-legged weighted blanket. My specialties include expert-level cuddling, epic naps, soaking up the sun, collecting toys (and parading them around!), and mastering the art of fitting into impossibly small dog beds. If there's a cozy spot or a lap available, you can bet I'll find it! I'm a gentle soul, a bit shy at first with new people and new experiences, but once I know you're kind, my sweet, affectionate personality truly shines. Having another dog around makes me feel brave, and I absolutely adore canine friends to help me navigate the world.

Ideal Home

Sylvia would thrive in a quieter home with older children who understand that shy girls need a little patience. A fenced yard is a must for her sunbathing and exploring, and she would be overjoyed to have a confident dog sibling to play with, nap with, and help her feel secure.

Ongoing Health

Sylvia has no known ongoing health concerns.

Training & Support

Sylvia is house trained, kennel trained, and has excellent indoor manners. She enjoys walks, playing with dog friends, and carrying toys. She has a charming morning ritual of parading her chosen toy before heading out for the day. A required "belly rub fee" is enacted whenever she rolls onto her back, with payment being simple belly rubs. She responds well to praise and treats, especially when called "beautiful."
