Mondo is a stunning Australian Shepherd mix with a striking charcoal grey coat, white belly, and spotted legs. He's about 5-6 years old, neutered, and weighs around 50-55 lbs. Don't let his age fool you; Mondo is an active and happy boy who loves to play! He's up-to-date on all his shots, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Mondo is also potty trained and crate trained, and he enjoys the company of other medium to large breed dogs, both male and female. He's a smart and agile dog, very food-motivated, and eager to learn anything you want to teach him. While he's not a couch potato and needs regular exercise, he also enjoys relaxing and cuddling on the couch for movie nights. Mondo rides well in the car and is looking for an active home where he can be an included member of the family.
Ideal Home
Mondo is not an apartment dog and needs regular exercise, whether through walks, hikes, or camping. He would do well as an only dog or with a canine companion. He can be part of a family with school-aged children, or live with a couple or single person, as long as he is an active part of their daily life. He cannot be left tied out or have access to an electric fence.

Mondo is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped.
Training & Support
Mondo knows basic commands but is not yet trained for off-leash situations. He may have had issues with fence climbing in a previous environment, but his current foster home has not experienced any issues with escaping, as he receives regular exercise. He is not meant to be left in the yard unattended.
