Yogi

Meet Yogi! This sweet, happy boy arrived at Animal Friends through our Humane Investigations department as a small puppy. His situation involved a lengthy legal process, which meant Yogi grew up at the shelter before finally becoming available for adoption. During his time with us, he's become a truly wonderful dog, made many friends, learned great doggy manners, and made incredible progress. Yogi is a high-energy boy who loves to play, go on adventures, and enjoy enrichment activities. Now, it's finally time for this special guy to experience a real home!

Ideal Home

Yogi would do best as the only dog in an adult-only home.

Ongoing Health

All of our animals are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccines and microchipped! Yogi is part of our Rosie's Rule program and will come with a GPS-enabled dog collar and a one-year subscription to the Fi App at no cost to his new family.

Training & Support

Yogi has been working with several dedicated handlers on his manners and has mastered a few different skills. He is very affectionate and loves quiet time with his handlers, enjoying enrichment activities. He has learned to walk well on a harness and enjoys car rides during hikes. Yogi is incredibly smart and is open to learning more skills! Yogi is part of our Foster-To-Adopt program, which means for four weeks our trainers will work with you and Yogi on his behavior and training in his new home. As an Extra Loved resident, Yogi requires a little extra care, attention, and patience.
