Meet Alfie, a sweet, outgoing, affectionate, curious, and playful little companion! At about 15 pounds, he has a big personality and loves people, new friends, and everyday adventures.

Alfie enjoys dogs of all sizes and would love a playful canine companion, though he can also be happy as your one-and-only dog. He likes cats enthusiastically, so a dog-savvy cat who can handle his invitations to play would be the best match. He is good with kids, but can be mouthy or nippy when excited and will benefit from continued guidance on appropriate play.

Ideal Home

Alfie is looking for a happy, social family in the northern states. His ideal home will continue helping him learn polite play manners and provide exercise, enrichment, and companionship. A foster-to-adopt arrangement gives the family 2 to 3 weeks to see how daily life together feels, with support from the rescue if the match is not right.
