Felipe (20241227-02)

Felipe is a 3-year-old, 41lb Shepherd mix with a beautiful brown and black coat. He's a loving, affectionate, and trusting boy who was rescued from the streets of Mexico. Despite a rough start, Felipe is now healthy, happy, and full of love, eager to find his forever home. He thrives on companionship and is a true hugger, always ready for cuddles and attention. Felipe also loves to play with toys and will make a devoted and joyful companion!

Ideal Home

Felipe would do best in a home with a yard and would prefer to have another dog to keep him company. He's good with women, men, dogs, and cats. He can also live with children, but older children are recommended as he can be playful and sometimes jumps. Felipe cannot live in an apartment.

Felipe is neutered.

Training & Support

Felipe is housetrained and accustomed to pottying outside. He is crate trained in progress. He is generally not a barker, but may bark if left alone for long periods. He is not food aggressive but prefers to eat alone. Felipe walks well on a leash but can get excited and try to greet other dogs. He is not leash reactive but wants to meet all dogs. He rides well in the car and is not destructive. While not a flight risk, all dogs should be leashed and supervised until a bond has formed.

Felipe is currently located in Mexico and will travel to the Niagara Region once an appropriate adopter is found.
