Iris is a 3-year-old Retriever mix with a soft, gentle spirit and a heart that’s slowly learning to trust. She came in very scared and unsure, but with time, patience, and kind interactions, she’s begun to open up and show her true, sweet nature. She’s a shy and timid girl who bonds deeply once she feels safe. Iris may take a little time to warm up, but when she does, her affectionate side shines through in the most rewarding way. She’s the kind of dog who will quietly become your shadow and form a strong, meaningful connection with her person.
Ideal Home
Iris would do best in a calm, patient home with someone who understands that trust takes time. With love and reassurance, she will continue to blossom into a devoted and loyal companion—the kind that makes every small step forward feel incredibly special. She is able to be adopted by families with children. A fenced in yard is not required.
Ongoing Health
Iris's adoption fee includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccines, and microchip.
