Emma- Foster to Adopt

Emma is a spunky, nearly 100% Beagle Rock Star momma who joined our rescue in February after being saved from an overcrowded shelter in Central Illinois. We were surprised to discover she was pregnant and she gave birth to four beautiful puppies on April 7th! Now that her nursing duties are complete, it's time for Emma to find her forever home. A DNA test revealed she's mostly Beagle with a hint of Chihuahua, giving her just the right amount of sass. She's incredibly friendly and her puppies taught her how to play with toys, so she now loves a good game of fetch!

Ideal Home

Emma is about 27lbs and could afford to shed a little of her post-puppy weight. She would love a home with daily walks and opportunities to play in the yard. She's a brilliant girl and would excel in dog sports like Barn Hunt, Nose Works, and Fetch. We are looking for a Foster to Adopt family in the Chicago area, as she'll need to be spayed in August. Adopters must have a safely fenced-in yard. Emma is super friendly with other dogs and would likely enjoy having one or two playful canine companions.

Ongoing Health

Emma will need to have her spay surgery performed in August.

Training & Support

Emma loves to play fetch and is brilliant, showing potential for dog sports.
