Meet Canyon Journey! This sweet, cuddly, and playful pup is approximately 2 months old and weighs around 12 lbs. We believe Canyon is a Pit Bull/Lab mix, but as with all rescues, it's our best guess! He's a gorgeous black puppy with adorable white markings, making him look quite dapper. Canyon is a professional snuggler who loves nothing more than to be close to his people, showering them with puppy kisses. He's also a typical puppy who enjoys toys, playtime with his siblings, and approaching life with enthusiasm.
Ideal Home
Canyon will need a family committed to providing him with the training, socialization, routine, and patience that all puppies need to thrive.
Ongoing Health
Canyon has received his initial vetting, including DAPP vaccinations with a booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccine. He has also been through multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and received a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. A heartworm test has been completed. He is microchipped with free lifetime registration.
Training & Support
Canyon is still learning about the world and will benefit from a family dedicated to establishing structure, boundaries, and positive experiences to help him grow into a confident, well-rounded adult dog. We require adopters to begin crate training immediately upon arrival home to aid in potty training, confidence building, and developing healthy habits.

Transportation
Canyon is currently in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick-up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). A surcharge of $87 applies for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
