Meet Penny Jane, an adorable and beautiful tricolor Mini Australian Shepherd mix! This sweet 12-pound girl is approximately 3.5 years old and has striking heterochromia, with two different colored eyes. Penny Jane is a true survivor, having navigated the dangers of the wilderness for weeks after being abandoned in a rural area. Miraculously, she found her way to a farmhouse where kind people slowly earned her trust, eventually coaxing her inside.

Ideal Home

Penny Jane loves to be by her human's side, whether snoozing nearby or snuggling on the couch. She thrives on affection, especially belly rubs and cuddles! She currently enjoys the company of a male King Cavalier and tends to prefer male dogs over females. She would likely do best with a male canine companion or as the cherished "one and only princess" of her home. She wants to be included in all the daily happenings and not feel isolated.

Penny Jane is spayed, microchipped, and current on her shots.

Training & Support

Penny Jane is mostly housetrained and will use a potty pad. Due to her past experiences with scarcity, she can be food-conscious and may sneak food if given the opportunity. With a loving home where she doesn't have to fend for herself, she's sure to blossom.
