Abby bonded with BB

Abby is a sweet, 5-year-old, 6lb mini long-haired Dachshund who is looking for a loving home. She was rescued by her mom, and her mom's last wish was for Abby and her sister, BB, to be adopted together. We are dedicated to honoring that wish and finding them a perfect, forever family. Abby is good with older, respectful children, other dogs, and cats. She is house-trained and prefers not to have accidents on the floor, though she will use a pee pad if needed. Her mom fed her a special diet of dachshund food mixed with crumbled cooked chicken, and we'd like to keep her diet consistent as she adjusts to her new home.

Ideal Home

Abby would do best in a home with older, respectful children. She is used to a quiet home and would prefer not to have small children around.

Ongoing Health

Abby is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and on prevention.

Training & Support

Abby is already house-trained. Consistency with her diet will be important as she transitions to her new environment.
