Callie

Callie is a 6-year-old, 50 lb Labrador Retriever and Siberian Husky mix with the kindest soul. Her world was turned upside down through no fault of her own. She was moved to a new state and climate, and what was meant to be a temporary safe haven for her family became permanent. Months passed, and the calls never came. She was left behind, holding space for the family she believed would return. The rescue then received the heartbreaking news that Callie was no longer wanted.

Callie spends her days surrounded by other dogs, finding comfort in companionship and routine. She is incredibly loving, takes treats gently, adores belly rubs, and is a wonderful alert dog, always aware when something feels out of place. She has a heart still full of love and longs to be chosen, cherished, and loved forever.
