Momma Auburn

Momma Auburn and her puppies were rescued from a shelter in Haywood County, TN, when the pups were just two weeks old. Auburn was found as a stray and pregnant, and the shelter staff, seeing her in need, reached out for help. Auburn proved to be an exceptional mother, not only caring for her own litter but also taking in three other orphaned pups and a single pup whose mother was absent. Now that her puppies are weaned, Momma Auburn is thriving in boarding at Happie Hounds, where she's embracing her social butterfly nature and learning to be a dog and have fun! Some of her pups may have double back dew claws.

Ideal Home

Momma Auburn is a social butterfly who enjoys being around others and is described as playful, smart, affectionate, and friendly. She has done well with dogs and children under 8, but her interactions with older children are unknown.

Ongoing Health

Momma Auburn has been spayed and vaccinated.
