Meet Chai, a charming 3-year-old, 53lb Catahoula mix with a heart full of affection. Chai absolutely adores his people and thrives when he can be part of the action, always wanting to see what his humans are up to. He's already mastered crate and potty training and is incredibly eager to please. This smart pup knows how to sit, lie down, and even perform an adorable "play dead" trick! He's also a pro at spinning in a circle on a hand signal, especially when treats are involved, making him a joy to train. Chai gets along wonderfully with other dogs of all sizes and would love a canine companion for playful romps. He's also great with kids, though he hasn't yet been tested with cats. Chai is currently working on his leash manners and is making great progress in learning to walk without pulling. With consistent positive reinforcement and plenty of treats, he'll be a leash-walking champion in no time! Chai would love a home where he can be close to his people and would enjoy having a playful dog buddy to romp with. He loves kids.
