Cesar is an 85 lb snuggler who was born on February 10, 2021. He’s a people-pleaser who loves everyone, including men, women, and children. Cesar’s energy level is moderate, about a 6 out of 10. He enjoys playing and running but isn’t overly athletic. He absolutely adores attention and can’t get enough hugs and kisses! Cesar loves to be pet right under his neck and on his shoulders. He will happily snuggle into your lap and rest his head on your chest, making you feel loved. Despite his size, Cesar is a gentle and quiet boy, only making noise when he needs to go outside. He’s a big house dog who thrives on affection. Cesar is a very smart dog, though not particularly curious. He is also protective and brave, having previously shielded his person from difficult situations.
On days when his person wasn't feeling well, Cesar would lie with them, offering comfort and protection. He enjoys being sung to, loves sleeping with his stuffed animals, and playing tug-of-war. He dislikes angry yelling or screaming. Cesar's presence is warm and comforting, making him unique. He is house-trained and crate-trained. Cesar does not suffer from storm or separation anxiety and is comfortable being independent or alone. He walks okay on a leash, though he is more accustomed to acreage and hasn’t been on a leash extensively. Cesar loves car rides! He has a high food drive and appreciates treats, ice cream, blueberry muffins, and sharing food from your plate. He would never snatch food, even from a child. His prey drive appears to be standard or average.
Ideal Home
Cesar’s ideal home would include a good fenced yard, a nice comfy bed inside, and plenty of love. He needs proper introductions to other dogs to ensure his comfort.

Cesar’s experience with other dogs is limited, so slow and proper introductions are essential. He generally doesn't like angry yelling or screaming.
