GEORGE

George is a charming 3-4 year old, 17lb mixed breed who was found wandering in a field and brought in for help. He's neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, on heartworm prevention, and is microchipped. George can be a little shy with new people and takes some time to warm up, but once he trusts you, he's a sweet companion. He has shown a real liking for the foster family's 18-year-old son! George enjoys toys and is highly motivated by treats. He is also crate and house trained, making him a well-behaved house guest.

Ideal Home

George would do best in a patient, loving home that understands and respects his need for personal space. Due to his nervousness and tendency to snap when unsure, he needs a home without small or young children. He is also not a fan of cats. However, he's doing well with dogs his size in his foster home!

Training & Support

George is already crate and house trained. He responds well to positive reinforcement and can be bribed with treats, especially when playing with his favorite toys. Patience and understanding of his boundaries will be key to his continued success.
