Saber

Saber is a sweet girl who is a bit reserved and cautious when meeting new people. She warms up more quickly to women than men. The volunteers at AGPR have helped her learn that it's okay to trust others, and she's slowly but surely getting better at it. She recently enjoyed a foster dad's bed but found the floor to be a cooler place to relax. Saber rides well in a car and enjoys walks, though she does pull a little due to nervousness when meeting new people. She loves to run and play in the yard and is often told she's a very pretty girl with "Maybelline eyeliner" and silver-tipped ears.

Ideal Home

Saber is not a city dog. She would thrive in a calm home with a nice yard and an understanding neighborhood. She will bark at strangers, as it's her job to protect her home and family.

Training & Support

Saber may pull on the leash when meeting new people due to nervousness. She needs continued positive reinforcement to build trust with new people.
