Ongoing Health

All dogs at Chicago Animal Care and Control are spayed/neutered and vaccinated before adoption.

Training & Support

Snack Pack is not house-trained and will need ongoing support to learn this skill. It's recommended to allow shelter dogs time to decompress before introducing them to new environments and routines.

Application Details:

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• All household members should be present to meet dogs.
• We can arrange dog-to-dog meet and greets for your current dog(s). Proof of up-to-date rabies vaccination for your dog(s) is required.

Transporation

Snack Pack is currently located at Chicago Animal Care and Control at 2741 S. Western Ave., Chicago, IL. Walk-in visitors are welcome and helped on a first-come, first-served basis. If you plan to adopt the day you visit, please arrive before 5:30 pm. Visitors arriving after 5:30 pm can view animals until 7 pm.
