Duncan

Duncan is the sweetest little boy, a 1-year-old, 19lb bundle of joy with a heart full of love. He's a typical mixed breed with a strong Chihuahua influence, and he loves to play with his squeaky toys, cuddle, and shower his humans with attention. Duncan gets along well with other dogs and is generally quiet and well-behaved. He seems to be pretty well house-trained and does well on a leash, though he could benefit from a little more training.

Ideal Home

Duncan would thrive in a home that can provide him with plenty of attention and playtime. We do not adopt to homes with children under the age of 8 years.

Ongoing Health

Duncan tested positive for heartworms when he was rescued. He has been treated according to The American Heartworm Society protocols and typically tests negative within 4 to 6 months. He is up-to-date on all vaccinations and monthly preventatives for heartworms, fleas, ticks, and parasites.

Training & Support

Duncan is pretty well house-trained and does fairly well on a leash, but he could use a little more training to perfect these skills.
