Nala is a sweet, 8-year-old, spayed female Shepherd/Retriever mix who weighs around 52 pounds. She's currently in a foster home in Houston, Texas, and has a tail that never stops wagging, a testament to her joyful spirit. Nala was found abandoned when her previous owners moved, but thankfully, she was rescued and is now looking for her forever family. She's an easygoing girl with a peaceful presence, offering a wonderful balance of relaxed companionship and playful moments.
Ideal Home
Nala would thrive in a home that appreciates her calm and loving nature. She's a great candidate for a family home and has shown patience and kindness with young children, including a toddler. She also interacts beautifully with other dogs, especially larger breeds, and would do well with a friendly canine companion. While she would enjoy having a dog friend, she would also be content as a solo dog, soaking up all the attention.

Training & Support
Nala is a well-mannered girl who is fully house-trained and crate-trained. She walks nicely on a leash and generally has a calm pace. While she enjoys playful moments, she also rests comfortably in her crate for several hours. She may prefer some space while eating, especially around unfamiliar dogs, but has shown no issues with people or toy guarding around her food.
