Rocco

Meet Rocco! This big lug has an even bigger heart and has quickly become a staff and volunteer favorite at Scituate Shelter. Rocco is a calm boy who can be a little nervous when he first arrives in a new place, but he always tries his best. He loves to snuggle up on the couch with his person and enjoys keeping watch out the window. He's a quiet guy who is sometimes content on his own and sometimes enjoys joining the family on the couch.

Ideal Home

Rocco would love a home where he can relax and be loved. While he seems like he'd be fine with cats, a meet-and-greet would be essential to ensure a good fit.

Ongoing Health

Rocco has some allergies that are managed with over-the-counter medication.

Training & Support

Rocco is working on crate training and is a bit scared of stairs. With some patience and positive reinforcement, he's sure to overcome these hurdles. Rocco also comes with a Handsome Dan's Rescue Take My Lead grant, which can be used for up to $500 in private training and supplies.
