Theodore

Meet Theodore! This sweet boy was born on 5/22/2026 and is expected to be a medium-sized dog, with his mom weighing around 45lbs. Theodore is a playful pup, though a little shyer than his siblings, and he absolutely loves his food! He's still young and can be socialized with dogs, cats, and children. Theodore's mom, Takumi, is a petite Shar Pei/Pittie mix who bravely gave birth to her litter while being rescued with a broken leg. Despite her injury and surgery, Takumi has been a wonderful and devoted mother to her puppies.

Ideal Home

A home where Theodore can continue to be socialized and showered with love. Any resident dogs in the home must be spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines, and on prevention. A home visit is required for all fosters and adopters.

Ongoing Health

Theodore will be up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and will be microchipped by his go-home date. His neuter surgery will be scheduled for a couple of weeks after adoption, and this is coordinated and paid for by Wags.

Training & Support

Theodore is a foodie, so incorporating treats into training sessions should be a great motivator!

Transporation

Theodore is currently in foster in Jackson, GA and is available for foster-to-adopt (FTA) starting 7/17/2026. Foster-to-adopt means you foster him with the intention of adopting him once his neuter surgery is complete. He will not be available to anyone else during this FTA period.
