Meet Bob, a handsome Shepherd mix with a golden heart and an unstoppable love for people! Bob has been with us since September 2023 and is patiently waiting for his perfect forever home. He approaches every new person with open-hearted enthusiasm and a whole lot of love to give, showing absolutely zero stranger danger! Bob is a social butterfly, getting along wonderfully with dogs of all ages, sizes, and play styles. He's even done well around cats, happy to give them their space if they prefer. If you enjoy hosting or bringing your dog along for daily adventures, Bob will thrive in your world.
Ideal Home
Bob is well-mannered and ready for real life, walking nicely on a leash, loving car rides, and enjoying all sorts of toys. He's happiest when he can be near his people and included in daily life. He does best in a home with another dog for companionship and confidence. Bob is a big, strong, active, and energetic dog who experiences life with joyful intensity. When excited, he may jump up in greeting. Because of his size and enthusiasm, he would do best in a home without young children. He is ideal for adults, teens, or families comfortable handling a large, energetic dog.
Ongoing Health
Bob struggles with separation anxiety and does not do well being left alone for long periods. He can become destructive if isolated and does not thrive in standard kennels. He needs a home where someone is around most of the time or can provide a secure setup.
Training & Support
Bob is fully housebroken and walks nicely on a leash. He needs a home where someone is around most of the time or can provide a secure setup to manage his separation anxiety.
