Meet Polly, a delightful 38lb Cattle Dog Retriever mix who embodies the spirit of a playful puppy with the sweetest disposition. She's spayed, vaccinated, and completely up-to-date on all preventatives, making her ready to leap into her forever home. Polly has a gentle, go-with-the-flow nature and truly enjoys being a part of her people's lives.
Polly is a forever puppy at heart! She adores toys, loves playing with other dogs, and has a bouncy, happy energy perfect for fun times. She's always game for a playdate with a canine friend and has also shown herself to be good with children aged 6 and up. We don't have any history of her interacting with cats. While Polly enjoys playtime, she's actually a pretty low-energy girl overall. She's just as happy to relax and cuddle as she is to toss around a toy. She's affectionate, snuggly, and loves being close to her people. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but she warms up quickly once she feels safe.
Ideal Home
Polly would thrive in almost any home, whether it's with a family, a couple, or a single person looking for a loyal companion.
Ongoing Health
Polly is spayed, vaccinated, and fully up to date on all preventatives.
Training & Support
Polly has great house manners and is fully house-trained and crate-trained for up to six hours. She does well in the car and has no issues with resource guarding or food aggression. She is currently working on her leash manners and may pull sometimes, but she is easy to manage. Like many young dogs, Polly is still learning the ropes of home life and will need a patient adopter who can continue to guide her. She should be crated when unsupervised as she can sometimes get into things if left loose. Consistency and routine will help her continue to blossom.
