Ike is a goofy, lovable Labrador Retriever mix whose favorite thing in the world is being with people. He has never met a stranger and believes everyone is a potential best friend! This happy-go-lucky guy is full of classic Lab enthusiasm and would love a family that enjoys walks, playtime, and plenty of cuddles. Ike is still learning that personal space exists and may occasionally forget just how big he is, but his affectionate nature and eagerness to please make him a great candidate for continued training. Ike's promise: "I might not fit in your lap, but I'm going to try anyway—and I'll make you smile every day." If you're looking for a loyal companion with a big heart and an even bigger personality, Ike is ready to meet you!

All vetting included: DAPP, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, spay/neuter, flea prevention, heartworm testing and prevention, micro-chipping.
Training & Support
Ike is still learning that personal space exists and may occasionally forget just how big he is. His eagerness to please makes him a great candidate for continued training. Our goal is to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts and just want someone to be understanding with them.

Transportation
Available for Transportation in VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, WA, TN, KY, IN, IL, WI, MN & OH. Private custom transport routes and destinations are available upon request with financial responsibility on the adopter's family. All transport buses or vans are equipped with air conditioning for comfort and onboard attendants providing 24-hour care. You can follow along on their journey through a private Facebook Event page. Our Adoption Coordinator will help to find the closest transport pick-up location to you. For those being picked up at our Angleton, TX location, there is a $75 fee.
