Meet Heath! This handsome fellow is approximately one year old and weighs about 35lbs. Heath came to us as a stray and was quite shy initially, but he has truly blossomed into a confident and loving companion! He now actively seeks out affection, enjoys his walks with the other dogs, and is doing wonderfully. Heath is also housetrained thanks to a convenient doggy door and hasn't shown any destructive tendencies. He gets along great with all the dogs here at the rescue.
Ideal Home
Heath would thrive in a home that is willing to continue his socialization and be patient as he adjusts to his new surroundings. Another friendly dog in the home would be fantastic for Heath to learn from and bond with.
Ongoing Health
Heath is up-to-date on his vaccinations, microchipped, and current on his flea and heartworm preventatives.
Training & Support
Heath is already housetrained and walks well on a leash with other dogs. His new family should be prepared to continue his socialization efforts to help him feel even more comfortable and confident.
