Greta is a sweet and gentle Labrador mix with a heart full of love to give! This approximately 7-year-old, 66 lb girl is house-trained and crate-trained, making her a well-mannered companion. When she first meets new people, Greta can be a bit shy and fearful, but with patience and kindness, her true, super friendly personality shines through. She adores having her head petted and will often offer her paw in return. Greta enjoys running and being active, but she also thrives in a calm and peaceful environment. She's looking for a family who understands her need for both gentle reassurance and regular exercise.
Ideal Home
Greta would do best in a calm and peaceful home with a fenced backyard. She needs an active family that enjoys outdoor activities and has a strong intention to truly rescue a dog. Experience with dog behavior and training is preferred, or a willingness to hire a trainer. She requires high tolerance and patience, especially since she is not house-trained.
Ongoing Health
Greta has received a comprehensive health protocol including: Spay/Neuter Certificate, 2 DHPPI Vaccine shots, Rabies Vaccine, Bordetella Vaccine, Deworming, Microchip, 4DX Test and Certificate, Negative Heartworm Test Certificate, and monthly Nexgard Spectra preventive protection. She also has a Health Certificate and Vaccine booklet.
Training & Support
Greta is not house-trained and will require consistent training and patience. It's important to understand that rescue dogs may have experienced trauma and need time to adjust. Providing a safe and loving environment, establishing a routine, and offering clear boundaries will help Greta feel secure and build trust.

Transportation
Greta is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico and is ready to travel to the East Coast on our cross-country trip. Door-to-door delivery is available for a one-time transport fee of $400 USD. Our transportation process includes scheduled trips with a partnered transport company, comprehensive legal documents, and real-time updates throughout the journey.
