Velveeta

Velveeta is a young, sweet mixed-breed girl who was saved by a local vet clinic when her previous owner requested euthanasia. She got into a dog fight over food, and her owner was bitten while trying to intervene. The clinic took ownership of Velveeta and reached out to rescues. Although many groups were unable to help, they were given our name and we accepted Velveeta into our care, believing in doing the right thing.

Ideal Home

We are looking for a home without other dogs for Velveeta, as she has a tendency to guard her humans.

Ongoing Health

Velveeta is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

While Velveeta enjoys playing with dogs in a structured daycare setting, her guarding behavior necessitates a dog-free home to ensure her comfort and the safety of all household members.
