Racer

Meet Racer, a handsome and independent pup who is ready to find a family that will appreciate his unique personality! Racer arrived at the shelter after being found running loose. His finder described him as friendly and playful, and since arriving, Racer has shown himself to be a curious dog who enjoys exploring his surroundings and taking things at his own pace. He loves to follow his nose and investigate the world around him. He's easy to leash, comes right out of his kennel, and enjoys walks where he can sniff and learn. Racer knows "sit" and is learning that polite manners lead to good things, especially when treats are involved!

Racer can be a little independent when meeting new people and prefers to interact on his own terms. He may not immediately seek out attention, but he appreciates positive interactions and has shown he can be a sweet companion once he feels comfortable.
