Hank

Meet Hank, a vibrant and affectionate 3-year-old Pit Bull Terrier who weighs in at a solid 74 lbs. This neutered male is overflowing with personality and ready to bring his big heart into a loving home. Hank is a strong, athletic boy who thrives on being an active participant in his family's life. He adores people and has a playful, social nature, making him eager to join in on any adventure, from walks and outdoor fun to simply lounging with his favorite humans. His foster family has found him to be engaging, happy, and always ready for action, especially when toys and interaction are involved.

Ideal Home

Hank would do best in an active home that enjoys plenty of walks, training games, enrichment activities, and outdoor adventures. He truly shines when he's included in daily life, given a job to do, and has a special person to bond with. If you have other dog(s), a meet and greet at the shelter is required.

Ongoing Health

Hank is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and is a healthy boy.

Training & Support

Hank is already crate-trained and house-trained, and he knows basic commands like sit, stay, and come. He's making great progress with car rides and is most comfortable when crated during travel. Like many energetic young dogs, Hank is still working on impulse control, and he benefits greatly from consistency and structure. He used to bark at passing cars but has shown significant improvement and no longer does so, thanks to continued redirection and routine.
