Charlie

Charlie is a handsome 1½-year-old, 85–90 pound Black Mouth Cur/Lab mix with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging! He's a playful and energetic boy who was once in a dire situation at a shelter but was given a second chance and is now eagerly awaiting his forever family. Charlie is a ball-of-fun who lives for a good game of fetch, especially with his favorite tennis balls, though he does enjoy a bit of playful keep-away! He's a smart cookie, already knowing commands like heel, sit, come, stay, and off. He's also working on "down" and would likely excel in advanced training or even dog sports.

Ideal Home

Charlie would do best in a home with teenage children or adults due to his enthusiastic nature. He'll thrive with an active single person, couple, or family who loves the outdoors and would welcome an adventuring companion for hikes or runs. He prefers the company of female dogs. Absolutely no tie-outs or electric fences.

Ongoing Health

Charlie is up to date on vaccinations and is heartworm negative.

Training & Support

Charlie is crate trained and fully potty trained. He knows several commands and is eager to learn more. He's working on "down" and may need some gentle guidance on his exuberance.
