Meet Thea, a bright and social Border Collie mix who loves making new friends wherever she goes. With her friendly nature and active mind, she is happiest when she has people, playtime, and a little adventure in her day. Thea has a distinctive black and white coat and sparkling brown eyes that perfectly match her personality. At 9 months old and 40 pounds, we can only estimate her adult size. However, we believe she will likely be on the larger side of medium dog size, between 45 and 55 pounds when fully grown.
Ideal Home
Thea enjoys playing with other dogs and does well with kids. She thrives on activity and attention and would love a home where she can join in on walks, hikes, playtime in the yard, and other family adventures. If left to her own resources, Thea will climb a fence and also chase poultry or livestock. Her compatibility with cats is currently unknown.
Ongoing Health
Thea is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and has been through foster care.
Training & Support
Thea is working on her young dog basics with learning to walk nicely on a leash. She is eager to keep learning and growing alongside her forever family. Thea has mastered house and crate training and is looking forward to showing off her skills to her new family. Although she is housetrained, it is important to remember that accidents can occur while adjusting to a new home environment. Dogs thrive on structure and routine, and they adjust much better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability.
