Meet Angel — the Dog Who Learned to Shine Again At first, Angel kept her distance, unsure of what to expect, but with a little patience and kindness, she opened up—revealing a warm, affectionate dog who loves nothing more than leaning into gentle hands and rolling over for belly rubs. She already knows "sit" and "down," and she’s eager to learn more. Angel plays with joyful enthusiasm, happily chasing toys, bringing them back, and trading them politely. She’s easygoing with both toys and also met a friendly poodle mix and handled the greeting like a pro—soft body, relaxed tail, and polite sniffs. Now Angel is ready for the next chapter: a home that will give her slow introductions, loving guidance, and continued training to help her fully flourish. She’s a tender-hearted girl with a hopeful spirit, waiting for someone to give her the fresh start she deserves. Will you be the one to bring her story to a happy ending?

This pet is eligible for an Adoption Audition! What is an Adoption Audition? It’s a 5 day, no-strings-attached, trial adoption period. You can take this pet home to try it out! Interested? Come to the shelter any time during open hours and talk to one of our Customer Care staff.

Then, come in during our open hours!
