Moose

Moose is a 9-month-old shepsky with stunning blue eyes and a heart full of love! He's a fun-loving, affectionate, and energetic boy who's always ready for an adventure with his favorite people. Moose enjoys spending time outdoors exploring, hiking, playing, and going for long walks. He walks nicely on a leash and is dog-friendly and cat-friendly. Moose was rescued from a high-kill shelter and is learning house manners. He is incredibly people-oriented and loves to be close to his humans, happy to be by your side whether you're relaxing at home or heading out for fun. Moose is also very food-motivated and eager to please, which makes him a joy to train.

Ideal Home

Moose would thrive with an active family willing to continue his training and help him build good habits. He would benefit greatly from a family with a parent who works from home or stays at home, so he can receive consistent potty breaks. Moose can be an only pet to soak up all the attention, but he also does well with other animals. A fully and adequately fenced yard is a must, and electric or underground fences are not accepted.

Ongoing Health

Moose is fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. He is heartworm negative and is kept on heartworm and flea preventatives.

Training & Support

Like many young dogs, Moose will benefit from continued training to help him build good habits. He is highly intelligent and will learn very fast. Guidance and appropriate management around food and toys when interacting with other dogs will help him succeed.
