Stella is a spirited one-and-a-half-year-old Siberian Husky mix with a vibrant personality. She's intelligent, loyal, and carries herself with quiet confidence, all wrapped in a beautiful lightly golden coat with white accents. Stella is a medium-sized girl, weighing about 55 pounds, and she's growing into an impressive companion. She loves long walks, adventurous hikes, energetic games of tug-of-war, and relaxing car rides. After a fulfilling day, she enjoys settling into her crate or a quiet space.
Ideal Home
Stella would thrive in a home with experienced adults who understand positive reinforcement training. She is not compatible with cats or other dogs and requires a fenced yard. She needs a family who will carefully manage introductions and advocate for her personal space, as she has a history of biting when unfamiliar people try to touch her without her consent or before trust is established. She can become uncomfortable when unfamiliar people attempt to pet her, so adopters must be patient and allow her to initiate contact, read her body language, and respect her boundaries.

Stella's digestive concerns are now being successfully managed through a carefully balanced veterinary diet. She comes with complete medical and behavioral records, as well as pet insurance.
Training & Support
Stella is house-trained and crate-trained. She knows an impressive list of commands, including sit, down, stay, heel, place, and yes-marker cues.
